Folklore from Singapore - Guess which one?
Time allocated: 1.25 hours

SCENARIO
Imagine the old cliché of a camp fire burning somewhere deep in the woods. Around the flames and flickering embers sits a small group of children listening to their grandfather telling tales and spilling ice-cold drinks onto white hot wood as the moon shines above and the stars twinkle like diamonds. This is a setting that's a far cry away from the mystery that’s being shared between friends. Tales, myths and folklore is embroidered into the very fabric of society and Brunei and Singapore are no different with its tales of great warrior heroes mingling effortlessly with epic tragedies, intriguing romances and often terrifying horrors. We believe, for anyone travelling, or indeed, living in any one of the two countries that to properly immerse themselves into the local culture, you must understand the stories of the many people that have farmed those lands and sown seeds for generations. With that in mind, we would like you to collaborate with your friends from Maktab Sains or SST and ‘tell a story’ as creative as possible using Digital Storytelling technique.
